More than 40-years ago, St. Luke’s Cataract & Laser Institute was founded by one of the world’s foremost authorities on cataract surgery, Dr. James P. Gills, who has performed more cataract and lens implant surgeries than any other surgeon in the world. Dr. Gills’ innovations have been adopted worldwide; contributing significantly to an industry-wide standard of care, including: No-stitch cataract surgery, no-needle anesthesia, intraocular antibiotics, and intraocular anesthesia.
